Right in time for Halloween, Melt Cosmetics has teamed up with “Beetlejuice” to create a showstopping collection. Debuting in 1988, “Beetlejuice” is a cult classic Halloween film and has inspired a television series, Broadway play and numerous video games. Melt, whose CEO Lora Arellano leaned in their spooky side on numerous occasions, has taken inspiration from the titular character’s signature colors for a groundbreaking makeup collection and we are dying to get our hands on it.
The first product in Melt Cosmetic’s “Beetlejuice” line to be teased on their Instagram is their “Recently Deceased” eyeshadow palette. The palette contains eight strange and unusual shades, with a variety of ultra-matte, metallic and foiled finishes. The shades range from greens to golds to purples, with names including “Betelgeuse,” “Paranormal,” “Draw a Door,” “Neurotic,” “Recently Deceased,” “Lost Souls, “Little Accident and “Bio Exorcist.” And because they’re made by Melt (who we’ve previously raved about), you know these shades will be ultra pigmented and super easy to blend.
We’re still waiting (impatiently) for the rest of the collection to be teased online, but based on the campaign trailer we know this line will include a brush set, another eyeshadow palette (this one’s named “The Waiting Room”) three bullet lipsticks, three liquid lipsticks, two gel eyeliners, a pigment paint a mascara and a mirror.
As of 10/28, the release date is to be determined, as are the shade names and prices. However, we assume that this collection will come out before Halloween and will **hopefully** be available for purchase at Sephora.
